Pune<\/strong> \u2013 In recognition of his impactful work on issues concerning minorities across the country, especially the Muslim community, Rahul Dambale<\/em>, President of the National Conference for Minority<\/em>, was honored with the Bharat Ratna Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Samaj Bhushan Award<\/em> by the Pune City District Muslim Community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award was presented by former Standing Committee Chairman Rashid Shaikh<\/em> and former Corporator Ayub Shaikh<\/em>. The event was graced by several dignitaries including Republican Party<\/em> leader Parshuram Wadekar<\/em>, former Deputy Mayor Dr. Siddharth Dhende<\/em>, former corporators Ghafoor Patan<\/em>, Rais Abid Shaikh<\/em>, Sundke<\/em>, NCP City Working President Haji Firoz Shaikh<\/em>, former corporator Himali Kamble<\/em>, Avinash Salve<\/em>, Balasaheb Janrao<\/em>, Bapusaheb Bhosale<\/em>, senior entrepreneur Nazeer Tamboli<\/em>, Adv. Ayub Shaikh<\/em>, former corporator Anis Sundke<\/em>, Shailendra Chavan<\/em>, Mahendra Kamble<\/em>, Republican Yuva Morcha\u2019s Suvarna Dambale<\/em>, Dalit Panther\u2019s Yashwant Nadgam<\/em>, Maulana Hashmi<\/em>, Siddique Shaikh<\/em>, Shahabuddin Shaikh<\/em>, Adv. Bhai Vivek Chavan<\/em>, Milind Ahire<\/em>, Atul Salve<\/em>, DICCI President Milind Kamble<\/em>, Saleem Patel<\/em>, Asif Khan<\/em>, and Sikandar Mulani<\/em>, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program was organized by Javed Bhai Shaikh<\/em>, Saleem Patel<\/em>, Asif Shaikh<\/em>, Mujammil Shaikh<\/em>, and Minaj Memon<\/em> and took place at the Aahar Banquet Hall<\/em> on Dhole Patil Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rashid Shaikh<\/strong> emphasized that activists like Rahul Dambale<\/em> are key to preserving secularism in India and maintaining Hindu-Muslim harmony. Ayub Shaikh<\/strong> highlighted Dambale’s strong efforts across the nation in presenting and resolving the issues of Muslims and minorities before the administration without giving in to religious polarization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Siddharth Dhende<\/strong> appreciated Dambale\u2019s significant contribution toward maintaining communal harmony in the city. Parshuram Wadekar<\/strong> stated that Rahul Dambale<\/em>, influenced by Ambedkarite ideology, has persistently advocated for the constitutional rights and provisions for minorities and secularism. He added that the award bestowed upon him by the Muslim community is a strong acknowledgment of his dedicated work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his speech, Rahul Dambale<\/em> stressed that above all castes, religions, languages, and sects, it is the Indian culture and the Constitution<\/strong> that bind the nation.
