However, at the time of independence, the literacy rate was very low. Later, during Rajiv Gandhi\u2019s tenure, the country witnessed the implementation of employment-oriented education, along with the computer and internet revolution. This laid the foundation of Digital India. From this, we can clearly see that when women and youth are given freedom, they prove their potential, said senior Congress spokesperson Gopaldada Tiwari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was speaking at the eighth anniversary celebration of N.M.D. Pvt. Ltd. and N.M.D. Infotech, which provide free computers and software skills training to farmers\u2019 children. On this occasion, MLA Vikramsinh Pachpute, NCP spokesperson Rupali Thombre Patil, Shroff Group\u2019s Managing Director and Chairman J.P. Shroff, senior police officer P.I. Waghmare, NMD Group founder Nawanath Mohan Darekar, Prashant Darekar, and others were present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Continuing further, Gopaldada Tiwari said, whether it is Colonel Sofia, who recently played a key role in the Sindoor Operation, or a young man like Nawanath Darekar, who supports the children of farmers, both have proved this point. Hence, even the youth from ordinary farming families have gained the strength to give shape to their dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Actress Prarthana Behere said, \u201cWhenever I travel to other states or abroad, I hardly come across Marathi entrepreneurs. People often say that a Marathi person cannot succeed in business or entrepreneurship, but today, I feel proud of being a Maharashtrian. Nawanath Darekar said, \u201cWhile working in the digital era, as part of our social responsibility, we began providing free computer and software skills training to the children of farmers. During this period, many farmer-parents shared their emotions, which assured us that we were on the right path. In the future, we will strive to extend a helping hand to even more farmers\u2019 children.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prashant Darekar said, \u201cNawanath completed his school education in a small village of Ahilyanagar district. Later, he came to Pune and, through hard work, created a unique identity for himself and earned a name. With the spirit of repaying his debt to society, he implemented an innovative initiative to provide free technology training to farmers\u2019 children. This has become a pillar of support for thousands of families. May his journey continue in the same way.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
