Pune: Tumko dekha to ye khayal aaya, Swapnanche vay kayam sola, Salona sa sajan, Ranjishe jo hai \u2014 an enchanting blend of Marathi and Hindi, old and new ghazals came alive during the soulful musical evening \u201cGhazaliyat \u2013 Dil Ki Dastaan\u201d, held on the occasion of Kojagiri Pournima at the M.E.S. Auditorium, Bal Shikshan Mandir, Kothrud. The event, presented by Sannmita Dhapte Shinde, received an overwhelming response from the people of Pune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was graced by dignitaries including Rahul More (Joint Commissioner, Women and Child Development Department), Suresh Sonawane (Superintendent, Customs), Sachin Rawal (Deputy Director, Sugar Commissionerate), Nilesh Navalakha (Producer), Uday Jagtap, Sonali Tanpure, former corporator Vijay Khaladkar, Navnath Jadhav, Bharti Darekar, Vijaysingh Gaikwad, Sharad Tandle (Writer), Suresh Vairalkar, Mahesh Thorve, Vinod Galande, and Darshana Suryawanshi, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this special occasion of Kojagiri Pournima, Sannmita Dhapte Shinde captivated the audience with her soulful rendition of various ghazals. She was previously declared the winner and awarded the title of \u201cMaha Gayika\u201d in the popular TV show Sur Nava Dhyas Nava. She was accompanied by Deepti Kulkarni, Apoorva Dravid, Apoorva Gokhale, Kartikswami, and Rohit Kulkarni in music.
