Davos (Switzerland): \u201cEntrepreneurs like Bharat Gite, known as the \u2018Aluminium Man of India,\u2019 have successfully implemented a \u20b9500 crore Memorandum of Understanding signed at last year\u2019s World Economic Forum, commencing actual production within just one year. I feel proud of Marathi entrepreneurs like Gite who have established industries in such a short span,\u201d said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, expressing his admiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was speaking during an interaction with Bharat Gite at the ongoing World Economic Forum in Davos. The discussion covered detailed aspects of industrial planning, swift execution, coordination between administration and entrepreneurs, and the growing importance of the manufacturing sector in the economy. These initiatives, which strengthen the Central Government\u2019s missions such as \u2018Atmanirbhar Bharat\u2019, \u2018Make in India\u2019, and \u2018Vocal for Local\u2019, have delivered an inspiring message to entrepreneurs across the country that rapid industrial development is achievable within a short time frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CM Fadnavis further stated, \u201cThe state-of-the-art aluminium castings manufacturing plant of Taural India, established at Supa MIDC in Ahilyanagar district, has set an exemplary industrial model for the state by commencing production in a remarkably short period. This project has created employment opportunities for local youth and has significantly boosted industrial development in the region.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added, \u201cBharat Gite and Taural India are excellent examples proving that an MoU need not remain on paper but can be transformed into actual production within a year. Marathi entrepreneurs possess the capability to compete at a global level. With the right policy support, Maharashtra can reach new heights in the industrial sector.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing his perspective, Bharat Gite said, \u201cSince 2016, Taural India has been expanding its industrial footprint and has made significant contributions in manufacturing precision aluminium castings required for the energy sector, defence production, medical equipment, and the aerospace sector. These contributions are strengthening the state\u2019s industrial progress and supporting economic growth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He further emphasized, \u201cThe manufacturing sector is the backbone of a strong economy. If sectors such as automobiles, engineering, infrastructure, electronics, electric mobility, defence ancillary industries, agro-processing, and high-value export-oriented manufacturing are strengthened, the industrial foundation of the state will become even more robust.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
