Directs Officials to Expedite Pending Infrastructure Works After Meeting with Municipal Commissioner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pune: State Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil has gone into action mode regarding the pending \u201cmissing link\u201d road projects in Ward No. 9 of the Kothrud Assembly constituency. On Monday, he held a meeting with Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram and directed officials to accelerate the work. He also expressed dissatisfaction over the slow pace of progress despite the state government having allocated funds for land acquisition and related works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


During the meeting, attended by senior civic officials, a detailed review was conducted regarding the missing link projects in Someshwarwadi, Sutarwadi, Pashan, Baner, and Balewadi areas of Ward No. 9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Officials briefed Minister Patil about technical difficulties in land acquisition and issues related to encroachments. Expressing strong displeasure, Patil stated that it was unacceptable for the work to proceed at such a slow pace despite the availability of state funds. In response, the Municipal Commissioner immediately instructed the Additional Commissioners to conduct on-site inspections and submit a detailed report on the status of the missing link projects in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Accordingly, on Tuesday, Additional Commissioners Omprakash Divte and Bankar visited the sites of the missing links in Pashan, Sutarwadi, Baner, and Balewadi to assess the situation. They reviewed the obstacles, technical issues, and the difficulties faced by local residents. Clear and firm instructions were issued to the concerned departments to initiate necessary administrative and technical actions immediately to ensure the speedy completion of the projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Once completed, these missing links are expected to significantly ease traffic movement in Pashan, Sutarwadi, Baner, and Balewadi areas. The availability of alternative routes will help reduce congestion, directly benefiting office-goers, students, traders, and emergency services. Minister Patil also stated that the project will play a crucial role in the overall development of the area, save commuting time, and help create a traffic-free and safer environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
