They must embrace creativity and move towards startups. Gaining advanced knowledge in areas such as semiconductors, hydrogen technologies, and artificial intelligence is essential,\u201d said Dr. Rajendra Jagdale, Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Science and Technology Park, Government of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the inauguration of the three-day International Conference on \u201cEmerging Trends and Technology\u201d (ICETT-26), organized by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at ISBM College of Engineering, Nande, Pune.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Dr. Jagdale emphasized that after acquiring higher education, students must strive for excellence in their chosen fields and take responsibility for their professional growth. Highlighting urban challenges, he noted that lack of proper planning has made cities like Delhi highly polluted. He stressed the importance of sustainable rural and urban planning and said that educated youth must take responsibility for solving pressing environmental and developmental issues through innovation and startups. He also informed that the government provides substantial funding and fellowships through various ministries to support innovative ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The event was attended by Dr. Naveen Kumar Agrawal, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Bhopal University; Dr. Ashok More, Executive Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education; and Mr. Neeraj Kumar, Delivery Project Executive at IBM, who presided over the function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Also present were Dr. Pramod Kumar, President of ISBM College of Engineering; Dr. A. M. Sapkal, Academic Dean; Prof. Sitaram Longani, Chief Coordinator of the Conference; and Prof. Neha Singh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Dr. Ashok More encouraged young students to equip themselves with advanced technological knowledge, particularly in artificial intelligence, and to pursue startup ventures driven by innovation. He remarked that India\u2019s youth possess exceptional potential and can achieve global success through hard work and creativity.<br>Mr. Neeraj Kumar highlighted the rapid technological transformation in the modern era and advised students to maintain a balance between body, mind, and brain. He urged them to stay focused on their goals and be prepared to face life\u2019s challenges independently. \u201cWhen you transform yourself, you transform the world,\u201d he said, adding that even simple ideas can bring about meaningful change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Dr. Naveen Kumar Agrawal emphasized the importance of time management, strong communication skills in English, industrial training, coding proficiency, consistent academic effort, and nurturing hobbies. He reiterated that skill development and entrepreneurship are crucial in today\u2019s competitive environment and that the government has made significant funds available to support startups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Earlier, Dr. A. M. Sapkal introduced the objectives of ICETT-26, stating that the conference would deliberate on sustainable development goals for 2030 and focus on areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Biotechnology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>International researcher Walida Ounruen interacted with participants through an online session.
