An Initiative to Bridge the Gap Between Students, Academia, and Industry; Guidance from Leading AVGC Experts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


Pune: Framebox Institute of Emerging Media successfully organized the first edition of its special student-focused seminar, \u201cNext Frame,\u201d at the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Hall. The primary objective of the initiative was to bridge the gap between education and industry while introducing students to career opportunities in the AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics) sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


As one of India\u2019s leading institutions in the field of emerging media, Framebox Institute of Emerging Media brought together industry experts and students on a common platform to showcase the power of creativity, innovation, and storytelling. The seminar provided students with practical insights into rapidly evolving technologies, employment opportunities, and industry expectations within the AVGC sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The event featured guidance from several renowned industry professionals, including Rajesh R. Turakhia, founder and director of Framebox; Anubhav Khanna; Ashish Thapar; Druhin Mukherjee; Vidit Kundra; and Subodh S. Narwade. Dharmaraj Wagh was also present at the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar featured in-depth discussions on a range of topics, including collaboration between industry and educational institutions, development of employability skills, character creation in animation, modern VFX technologies, Nuke-based compositing, and the future of India\u2019s gaming industry. Framebox\u2019s industry-integrated degree programs in animation, VFX, and gaming also received special attention. These programs are conducted in collaboration with leading organizations such as Green Gold Animation, Zebu Animation Studios, and Godspeed Games.
Through expert-led sessions, students gained valuable insights into production pipelines, emerging industry opportunities, workflows used in global projects, and diverse career pathways within the AVGC sector. The seminar received an enthusiastic response from students, industry partners, and representatives from the creative media industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Speaking on the occasion, Rajesh R. Turakhia said:
