PUNE : Johnson Controls India partnered with Purnkuti NGO to support womenled micro enterprises and strengthen sustainable livelihoods in Pune through a business kit distribution event, part of its CSR program and long-standing collaboration with the organization.
The initiative focused on generating sustainable income by pairing skill development with resources, market exposure and enterprise support\u2014helping participants build independent, long-term sources of income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


During the event, Johnson Controls distributed business startup kits to 26 beneficiaries, enabling them to grow their entrepreneurial efforts. The kits included eight parlour units, eight tailoring units, and 10 crochet units. The support is expected to strengthen participants\u2019 ability to generate sustainable income and build micro-enterprises. The program is also anticipated to create multiplier impact\u2014indirectly benefiting more than 100 individuals through improved livelihood opportunities, better nutrition, and enhanced access to education within beneficiaries\u2019 families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by Preeti Vaishnaov and Sanchari Sinha from Johnson Controls India, alongside Sneha Bharti, Founder of Purnkuti, who has been instrumental in implementing the initiative at the grassroots level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
