Pune: On the occasion of the 134th Ganesh Festival, the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganpati Trust and Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal will recreate a grand replica of the famous Prem Mandir in Vrindavan. The magnificent structure, symbolizing the divine love and devotion of Radha and Krishna, will offer devotees a spiritually enriching experience immersed in the essence of love and devotion, informed Trust President Sunil Rasane during a press conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Present on the occasion were Trust President Sunil Rasane, Vice Presidents Dr. Ramchandra (Balasaheb) Paranjape and Manik Chavan, Treasurer Mahesh Suryawanshi, General Secretary and MLA Hemant Rasane, Joint Secretary Amol Kedari, Festival Chief Akshay Godse, Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal President Prakash Chavan, Saurabh Raikar, Yatish Rasane, Tushar Raikar, and other office-bearers and volunteers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The decoration inauguration ceremony was held at the Trust\u2019s decoration workshop at Hirabaug Kothi, opposite Sanas Ground, and was inaugurated by this year’s Art Director, Nitesh Kumar. Hemant Rasane stated that for many years the Trust has been committed to creating outstanding replicas of renowned temples from across India. This year\u2019s replica of Prem Mandir, known for its stunning white marble architecture and intricate carvings, will be a major attraction for devotees. Famous for its grand pillars, illuminated domes, and depictions of Krishna Leelas, the temple replica will stand approximately 100 feet tall and will be based on the theme: \u201cWhere devotion becomes love and love becomes divinity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The structure will feature a grand viewing area inspired by marble temple architecture. Intricately carved pillars and domes reflecting traditional North Indian temple design will be showcased, along with sculptural panels depicting episodes from Krishna\u2019s life, including Raas Leela, Govardhan Leela, and Jhula Leela. Decorative floral arrangements, sacred motifs, and dazzling illumination will make the temple glow magnificently after sunset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Treasurer Mahesh Suryawanshi said that in a world increasingly driven by materialism and division, the replica aims to convey the values of love, devotion, harmony, and faith\u2014forces that unite humanity. A grand ornamental archway will first be erected at Budhwar Chowk, featuring intricate craftsmanship. Along the running pavilions on either side of the main structure, various scenes from Krishna Leela will be displayed. A majestic statue of Radha and Krishna will also adorn the temple\u2019s fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


This breathtaking replica of Vrindavan\u2019s Prem Mandir is expected to attract devotees from across India and abroad during Ganesh Festival 2026, offering them a glimpse of the country’s rich religious and cultural heritage while promoting a sense of national unity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The replica will measure 120 feet in length, 90 feet in width, and 100 feet in height. It will feature numerous grand pillars and sculptures. The design of the sanctum and the main assembly hall will be spacious and streamlined, allowing devotees to have an unobstructed view of Lord Ganesh even from a distance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
