Pune : The education sector in India is currently at a crucial juncture, facing the challenge of preserving traditional educational values while embracing modern technology, effectively integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into classrooms, and ensuring quality and equitable education for every student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Against this backdrop, the three-day \u2018The Schools of India Education Summit 2026\u2019 will be held from October 30 to November 1, 2026, at Novotel Imagica, Khopoli, with an aim to deliberate on the emerging challenges in education and explore practical solutions for the future of the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leading educationists, founders of prominent schools, principals, policymakers and technology researchers from the edtech sector are expected to come together under one roof to deliberate on issues concerning the future of millions of students, said Malpani Group Director Yashvardhan Malpani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking about the summit, Ankit Pushparaj Verma said the three-day conference would focus not merely on formal discussions but on developing strategic approaches that could be practically implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The deliberations will primarily focus on contemporary changes in teaching methodologies, innovation in learning, school leadership and institutional management, as well as students\u2019 mental health and holistic development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Special workshops and interactive sessions will also examine how Artificial Intelligence can be integrated into school education in a safe, responsible and effective manner, particularly in view of global developments in education and their impact on the Indian education system.
Participants will also have an opportunity to witness live demonstrations of new edtech products and educational equipment through a dedicated exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Eminent education leaders to share insights
Providing details about the summit, Anishka Malpani said one of its key highlights would be the participation of an experienced advisory and leadership panel representing diverse segments of the Indian education ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The panel includes Lakshmi Kumar of Avasara Academy, who will focus on social impact and holistic education; Sanjay Malpani of Malpani Group of Schools, who will share insights on large-scale institutional networks; and Dr Swati Popat Vats of ECA and Podar Education Network, who will speak on progressive education and research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Experts will also deliberate on the use of AI in education, with Russell John Cally of Almach AI; international curricula, with Seetha Murthy of IB World Schools and Alka Pandey of Cambridge International; and global business education, with Parimal Merchant of SP Jain School of Global Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mrinal Shah of Social Brick will share insights into learning through sports and experiential education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The participation of such eminent educationists and thought leaders is expected to make the summit a significant platform for discussions that could help shape the future direction of educational policies and practices in India, she said.
A special exhibition will be organised during the summit, showcasing educational technology, smart classroom solutions, edtech start-ups and innovative educational resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
