Youth Congress holds ‘Halla Bol’ movement in Pune against rising unemployment and increasing drug addiction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pune – To draw attention to rising unemployment and the increasing crimes due to it, the Youth Congress organized a ‘Halla Bol’ movement in Maharashtra. Thousands of youth participated in this movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While addressing the gathering, Uday Bhanu Chib said, “Today, by being here, we are showing how important this movement is for the future of India. In the last 10 years, unemployment, drug addiction, and drug rackets have increased drastically. This addiction not only ruins the young person involved but also destroys their entire family. Today, the Modi government has tarnished India’s image. This government is pretending to be asleep.” He also demanded that the Modi government take steps to stop unemployment and drug addiction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movement was led by the National President of the Indian Youth Congress, Uday Bhanu Chib, and the Maharashtra State Youth Congress President, Shivraj More. The movement also saw the participation of National Youth Congress In-charge Krishna Alla Varu, Maharashtra President Kunal Raut, Maharashtra In-charge Ajay Chikara, Maharashtra Youth Congress Co-Incharge Ehsan Bhai Khan, Pune City Youth Congress President Saurabh Amarale, State In-charge Ajay Chikara, President Kunal Raut, Rohit Kumar, Media Department Head Akshay Jain, Umesh Pawar, Kaustubh Navle, Ajit Singh, Vaishnavi Kirad, Deepali Sasane, Prathmesh Abnave, Pravin Biradar, Srinivas Nalmwar, Tariq Bagwan, Ganesh Ubale, and many other activists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The protest began with a “Give jobs, no drugs” slogan and a padyatra (foot march) from Congress Bhavan. The protesters were stopped at Bal Gandharv Chowk, where some of them were taken into custody by the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shivraj More said, “Maharashtra is a state with progressive thoughts. The industries and jobs that Maharashtra should be getting are being taken away by Modi and Shah to Gujarat. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra is turning a blind eye. Due to unemployment, the youth of Maharashtra, and the entire country, are heading towards despair. Many young people have fled abroad because of the increasing unemployment. Today, Maharashtra is becoming like Punjab, and even Beed is becoming like Bihar. The image of Maharashtra is deteriorating. Due to the rising unemployment, the suicide rate among youth is increasing. This fight is not just for the elections, but it will continue until the youth get employment. We will not stop this fight until the drug racket in Maharashtra is shut down.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ehsan Bhai Khan said, “The enthusiasm of the youth seen in this movement shows how much the unemployment rate has increased in our country. Both the central and state governments are turning a blind eye to this. Through this movement, we want to open the eyes of this government.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saurabh Amarale said, “Earlier, Pune was known as the center of education, but now it is being recognized as the center of drug addiction. Today, we are seeing the highest number of young people falling prey to addiction in Pune.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
