Women\u2019s Bike Rally Organized by Janseva Nyas, Hadapsar & Amanora Yes Foundation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pune: Like every year, Janseva Nyas, Hadapsar, is organizing the Hindu Women’s Festival on the occasion of Gudi Padwa, which falls on Sunday, March 30. Along with celebrating the Marathi New Year, this year, in collaboration with Amanora Yes Foundation, a pledge to save 100 crore liters of water will be undertaken. As part of the Hindu Women’s Festival, a women\u2019s bike rally will be held, and at the rally’s concluding point, the participants will take an oath to save water. This information was shared in a press conference by Aniruddha Deshpande, President of Amanora Yes Foundation, Madhav Raut, Executive Trustee of Janseva Nyas, and CEO Chetan Kulkarni. Vivek Kulkarni of Amanora Yes Foundation was also present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which has been tirelessly working for an ideal society, has entered its centenary year. The organization has set several goals and objectives for societal welfare. Following the same ideology, Janseva Nyas, Hadapsar, is taking a pledge for water conservation while welcoming the Marathi New Year. The bike rally will also serve as an awareness campaign for water conservation, with active participation from women in Hadapsar and nearby areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women participating in the rally will receive a certificate of honor and a band promoting water conservation. Women spreading awareness about water conservation will be titled \u2018Jaljyoti\u2019 (Water Light).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grand Women\u2019s Bike Rally Across Hadapsar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Janseva Nyas, Hadapsar, organizes a women\u2019s rally every year on Gudi Padwa, but this time, it will have a unique theme. Women from Hadapsar and surrounding areas, including Malwadi, Vaiduwadi, Ramtekdi, Sasane Nagar, Gondhale Nagar\/Satavawadi, Fursungi\/Bhekrai Nagar, B.T. Kawade Road, Magarpatta, Amanora, Shewalwadi, Mundhwa\/Manjari, Kumar Picasso, Undri\/Pisoli, Venus World School, Amarsrushti, Aspire Towers, and Metro Towers (Amanora), will participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bike rally will begin at 5 PM from 17 different locations on March 30 and will culminate at Amanora Cricket Ground (Adreno Tower) at 6 PM. Participants will wear traditional Nauvari sarees and Marathi-style Pheta (turban). So far, 4,200 women have registered, and a total of 5,000 women are expected to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will conclude with Dhol-Tasha performances, followed by the women taking an oath for water conservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Women Leading the Water Conservation Movement in Amanora<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Amanora, water conservation efforts have already begun with the active participation of women. Housemaids and domestic helpers, referred to as \u2018Avantikas\u2019, have been educated about the importance of saving water and have been carefully using water for the past few years. These Avantikas will also be part of the bike rally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Hindu Women\u2019s Festival will also emphasize the cultural belief that “where women are respected, the divine resides.” Saving water is essential for environmental sustainability. Since ancient times, water has held immense significance in human life. If the women of a household understand the importance of water conservation, the entire family can contribute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To mark this commitment, a sacred water pot (Jal Kalash) from Prayagraj will be worshipped, and the pledge to save 100 crore liters of water will be formally undertaken.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
