Brother Jayraje Also Accused in Land Scam<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pune: Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) MP from Dharashiv, Omraje Nimbalkar, has been accused by businessman Dinesh Mangle of threatening and abusing him over a phone call. Mangle made these allegations during a press conference and also filed a police complaint regarding the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Mangle, Omraje’s brother, Jayraje Nimbalkar, mortgaged a plot of land to a bank he is associated with and secured a loan of \u20b92.5 crore in his own name despite not being eligible. The bank approved the loan despite Jayraje’s ineligibility, and he allegedly kept the entire amount for himself without repaying even a single installment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the bank began recovery proceedings, Mangle claims to have paid \u20b934 lakh towards the dues. Fearing legal complications, Mangle says he tried to contact MP Omraje Nimbalkar to inform him about the matter. However, instead of listening to him, Omraje allegedly threatened and abused him. Mangle further alleged that Jayraje had sold the same plot of land to 14 other people, constituting a land scam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Mangle decided to pursue legal action regarding the loan and the threats, Jayraje reportedly deposited \u20b924 lakh in the loan account. Mangle said he not only filed a complaint with the police but also wrote letters to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and both Deputy Chief Ministers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
