Pune: On the occasion of the arrival of the Palkhis (processions) of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj and Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj, several organizations, institutions, and political parties, along with medical professionals, coming forward to serve the Warkaris is a true reflection of Pune’s rich cultural ethos, said Congress leader and Chairman of the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial Committee, Gopaldada Tiwari, during a dental and cancer screening camp. He appreciated the initiative taken by ‘32 Smiles Dental Clinic’ on J.M. Road as a worthy example.

Present on the occasion were Dr. Milind Darda, Director of 32 Smiles; Adv. Faiyaz Shaikh, Director of Lawyers Society; along with associate doctors Dr. Priyanka Rathi, Dr. Nancy Mahajan, Dr. Nilu Vyas, Dr. Bhavya Jain, Dr. Ghosh, and Isha Radha. Around 500 people availed of the dental check-up and medicines provided during the camp.

Gopaldada Tiwari further stated that oral health plays a crucial role in overall health, and described teeth as the gateway to bodily health. He emphasized that in today’s fast-paced life, regular dental clean-ups by a dentist at scheduled intervals is a good habit that helps maintain overall health.
