Pune : At a time when Maharashtra is witnessing a growing cancer burden, Cancer Healer Center has launched its new centre in Pune, marking its 30th centre across India and 5th centre in Maharashtra. The launch was held through a press conference in Pune, where the organisation highlighted the need for timely consultation, early detection awareness and patient-centric cancer care beyond major metro cities.

According to ICMR-NCDIR’s Maharashtra cancer profile, the state is projected to record over 1.30 lakh new cancer cases in 2026, including 61,703 cases among men and 68,762 cases among women. The data also points to key cancer-linked risk factors in the state, including tobacco use, second-hand smoke exposure, obesity and lifestyle-related health risks. Against this backdrop, the need for accessible cancer guidance, timely diagnosis and continuity of care has become increasingly important for patients and families across Maharashtra.

The newly opened Pune centre has been established to provide specialised cancer consultation, personalised treatment planning, follow-up support and structured guidance to patients from Pune and surrounding regions. The centre aims to reduce delays caused by lack of clarity, repeated travel and limited access to expert opinion, especially for families navigating complex treatment decisions.

During the press conference, Dr. Tarang Krishna, Managing Director, Cancer Healer Center, addressed the media on the importance of cancer awareness, early diagnosis and continuous patient support. The discussion also focused on the need to strengthen regional cancer care access so that patients can receive timely medical direction closer to home.

Cancer Healer Center follows an immunology-informed approach to cancer care, with emphasis on understanding each patient’s disease profile, immunity, medical history, treatment response and overall quality of life. The Pune centre will support patients through personalised care pathways, regular monitoring and compassionate follow-up during different stages of their treatment journey.

Speaking at the launch, Dr. Tarang Krishna, Managing Director, Cancer Healer Center, said, “The rising cancer burden in Maharashtra makes it clear that patients need timely guidance, early clarity and continuous care support. In many cases, families lose valuable time because they are unsure about symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options or the next step after reports. With our Pune centre, our aim is to bring structured, patient-centric and immunology-informed cancer care closer to people. This launch is not only an expansion milestone, but also a step towards improving access to consultation, awareness and follow-up support for patients across Pune and nearby regions.”

The Pune centre will also contribute to Cancer Healer Center’s wider efforts to promote awareness around early warning signs, timely medical intervention and the importance of consistent follow-up. The organisation believes that better access to consultation and care guidance can help patients make informed decisions and reduce delays in the treatment journey.
With this launch, Cancer Healer Center strengthens its presence in Maharashtra and continues its focus on making cancer care more accessible, personalised and continuous for patients across India.
