Sanjay Agarwal Appointed as National Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor Cell and Jayesh Tank as Maharashtra Vice President

Priority to Solving Unorganized Workers’ Issues – Vishnupriya Roy चौधरी

Pune: Sanjay Agarwal from Pune has been appointed as the National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor Cell, while Jayesh Tank has been appointed as the Maharashtra State Vice President. Their appointment letter distribution ceremony was recently held at Shubharambh Lawns. The event was attended by All India Bharatiya Janata Mazdoor (Cell) President Arnab Chatterjee, Youth President Deepak Sharma, Maharashtra Women’s President Savita Pandey, along with dignitaries like Umesh Shah, Ashok Rathi, Sunil Jyanjyot, Dilip Aba Tupe, Nitin Shitole, and Rajendra Gire.

Speaking on the occasion, Vishnupriya Roy Choudhary stated that both the state and central governments are focused on safeguarding the interests of workers. However, a significant number of workers are contractual and unorganized, and addressing their issues is a priority for the cell. She emphasized that while the government has several schemes for unorganized workers, they do not always reach the beneficiaries. Ensuring that these schemes are accessible to them is a key goal. The cell is actively verifying whether workers are receiving benefits like Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI). She reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that workers receive the benefits of various schemes and are not exploited.

Arnab Chatterjee noted that the cell’s work in Maharashtra is progressing well. Over the past three years, they have established more than 200 branches across the state. He mentioned that their organization is performing better than other labor unions, leading to success in various labor elections.

Sanjay Agarwal and Jayesh Tank expressed their commitment to protecting the interests of workers across the state and country, as well as expanding the organization. They also stated their goal of ensuring that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s schemes reach laborers and workers effectively.
