Spread the love Challenge India Championship 2024-25 Pune: The FIRST Tech Challenge India Championship 2024-25, India’s largest robotics competition for school and junior college students, was recently held at Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Pune. In this prestigious event, Team ‘Mad Engineers’ emerged as the ‘Inspire Award’ winner. Additionally, the robot game winners were: Alliance Captain & Partner: Team Matrix (2nd place) Team Eureka (3rd place) These top three teams will now represent India at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, USA, from April 15 to 19, 2025. The results of the FIRST Tech Challenge India Championship 2024-25 were announced in the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Dr. Siddharth Jabade (Vice-Chancellor, Vishwakarma University), Padma Shri Pramod Kale (Former Director, ISRO), Vishwanath Sassi & Pragati Chauhan (Circana), Amit Savarkar (RTX), Vikas Savhani (Bajaj Auto Ltd.), Mahesh Masurkar (Director, John Deere), and Sajit Chakingal (TMF). This year’s competition witnessed participation from 60 teams across major Indian cities like Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Additionally, six international teams from Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, and the UAE also competed. During the event, around 1,500 students and teachers from PMC Vidyaniketan Schools (Pune Municipal Corporation) got a chance to experience the championship. They witnessed live robotics matches, providing them with a unique opportunity to see high-energy, strategy-driven competitions featuring India’s top robotics teams.
