In life, the worship of Lord Ganesha (Morya) should be the primary focus, and only after that should all other tasks be undertaken,” stated Param Pujya Ganapatya Vidyavachaspati Swananad Pund Shastri Maharaj from Wani, Yavatmal. The seven-day discourse series on the topic ‘Karmayoga in Shri Ganesh Gita’, organized by Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganpati Trust and Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal, was held at the auditorium of Nu. Ma. Vi. Prashala and Junior College on Shrimant Thorle Bajirao Road. The statement was made by Maharaj during the concluding session of the discourse. He said, “Attaining Morya means attaining bliss. The grace of the Divine means the inner joy remains undisturbed. We must learn to listen with intent, yet unfortunately, we often prefer to hear negative things. This is a tragedy. We must aim to transform our actions into worship. That should be our resolve.” He further added, “The world and family life will always keep changing. In the midst of that change, we must remain unwavering. Approaching and reaching the Divine is what worship truly means. Scriptures may not give us knowledge directly but can show us the path — the journey along that path is up to us. No other culture in the world is as profound as ours, yet we lack understanding even of basic practices like achaman and pranayama. For that, guidance from a Guru is essential. Today, people merely have a fondness for devotion to God, not true desire or love. This mindset needs to change.
