“Payavatachi Saavli” to Release on May 30

Mumbai: Actress Revathi Iyer, who gained fame through the popular reality show “Chal Bhava Sitit,” is now set to make her debut on the silver screen. She received significant attention during the show and reached the grand finale thanks to her hard work. Revathi will soon be seen in a lead role in the upcoming Marathi film “Payavatachi Saavli,” which is scheduled to release across Maharashtra on May 30. Her fans are eagerly awaiting the film, and there is already considerable buzz about it on social media.

Marathi cinema is well-known for its meaningful themes, quality content, and powerful performances, earning recognition even on international platforms. “Payavatachi Saavli” is one such Marathi film that delves into social realities and explores deep emotional struggles. Presented by Meena Shamim Films, the film is both written and directed by Munnawar Shamim Bhagat. The production is also handled by Meena Shamim Films, with music composed by Amit Anil Biswas.

The cast includes Vijay Bhatia, Shalvi Shah, Revathi Iyer, Prasad Mali, and Sheetal Bhosale. Sameer Saxena served as the executive producer and handled syndication, while distribution is managed by Chandrakant Vispute, founder of Akat Distribution.

Sharing her experience of working in the film, Revathi Iyer said “When renowned writer, director, and producer Munnawar Shamim Bhagat sir approached me about the film, I was thrilled. I’ve previously acted in a few Hindi TV shows, but working in a movie had always been my dream. I never imagined it would come true so soon. I immediately agreed. It’s my first film and I landed a lead role – I was over the moon! The entire shoot took place in a village near Kolhapur. I learned so many new things through this film. I’m truly grateful to Munnawar sir for giving me this opportunity. I request all viewers to watch Payavatachi Saavli in theaters.”
