Spread the love Pune : On the auspicious occasion of Gurupournima, Keystone School of Engineering hosted a vibrant celebration honoring the sacred Guru-Shishya Parampara of Indian culture. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 1000+ students, faculty members, HoDs, directors, and non-teaching staff. The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Senate Member of SPPU, Mr. Prasenjit Phadnavis, who served as the Chief Guest. The function began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Mr. Prasenjit Phadnavis, Founder Director Prof. Soman Sir, Director Prof. Prashant Kasabe, Director Mr. Ankit Lunawat, and Principal Dr. Sandeep Kadam, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. In his address, Principal Dr. Sandeep Kadam urged students to offer a symbolic ‘Gurudakshina’ by ensuring 100% attendance and limiting mobile phone usage, showing true respect to their teachers. The program featured heartfelt speeches by some students, expressing gratitude and reverence for their mentors. The campus was beautifully adorned with posters and a backdrop reflecting the essence of Guru-Shishya tradition in Indian culture. Vidya Vibhushan Awards 2025The highlight of the event was the presentation of the ‘Vidya Vibhushan Award’ to 10 outstanding faculty members for their exemplary contributions in engineering education.
