Spread the love Pune: The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. (PMPML) has resumed the Route No. 105 bus service operating between Aundh and Deccan Gymkhana, bringing relief to citizens from the Aundh-Baner area. The route had remained suspended for the past several months, prompting repeated demands from local residents for its restoration. The service has now been restarted following persistent follow-up efforts by Corporator Chandrashekhar alias Sunny Nimhan. The inaugural run of the first bus was flagged off today at around 8:15 am in the presence of several dignitaries. Those present on the occasion included PMPML Director Ajay Khedekar, Deputy Mayor Parashuram Wadekar, Corporator Sunny Nimhan, Corporator Bhakti Gaikwad, Sapna Chhajed, Anand Chhajed, Shirish Naikare, RPI Shivajinagar Youth President Mahadev Salve, Manoj Dalvi, Vasant Junawane, Nilesh Gaikwad, Sujata Patil, Suryakant Kalapure, Satish Taru, Maruti Patil, John Prakash, Mangal Jadhav, Surekha Kulkarni, along with local citizens and PMPML officials.Residents expressed satisfaction over the resumption of this long-discontinued bus service in the DP Road area. The service will now operate daily from 5:30 am to 8:15 pm, with eight trips scheduled every day on this route. Citizens said the restored service would make travel between Aundh-Baner and Deccan far more convenient and accessible, especially for daily commuters. The restart of Route No. 105 is being seen as an important step toward improving local public transport connectivity and addressing the long-pending demand of residents in the area.
