Pune : In a significant step towards strengthening educational infrastructure for underprivileged students, a modern computer lab and library were inaugurated at the Jadabai Dugad Educational Campus in the Sukhsagar area of Pune. The facility was formally inaugurated by Mrs. Sheesham Sabharwal, National President of Ladies Circle India, along with Area Chairperson Mrs. Megha Rathi.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of key dignitaries including Gaurav Dugad and Monal Dugad, along with school principal Nanda Rajaram Bhosale and several prominent members from Pune Cosmopolitan Round Table 110 and Pune Cosmopolitan Ladies Circle 81.

Addressing the gathering, Monal Dugad, Secretary of the institution, highlighted the journey of the school, which was established nearly four decades ago with a mission to provide quality education to economically disadvantaged children. She noted that the institution has evolved significantly over the years and now offers semi-English medium education at affordable fees. The addition of a computer lab and library marks a new milestone in enhancing students’ overall development.

Founded by the late Manikchand Narayandas Dugad, the institution continues to be guided by Chairman Pramod Manikchand Dugad, with Gaurav Dugad serving as Vice Chairman and Monal Dugad as Secretary. The organization remains actively involved in various social initiatives across the Sukhsagar locality.

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Sheesham Sabharwal appreciated the collaborative efforts behind the initiative and emphasized the transformative power of education. She highlighted how access to technology and books can bridge opportunity gaps and open pathways for a brighter future for students.

The newly established computer lab is expected to equip students with essential digital skills, while the library will foster reading habits and encourage lifelong learning. Members of the participating organizations expressed pride in contributing to initiatives that create long-term social impact, reiterating their belief that true empowerment comes from enabling both education and self-reliance.

The project was made possible with the valuable support of Pune Cosmopolitan Round Table 110 and Pune Cosmopolitan Ladies Circle 81, along with the presence and encouragement of several well-wishers and community members.

This initiative stands as a meaningful example of how collective efforts can create sustainable opportunities and positively shape the future of young learners.
