Pune : The BLS and CPR training initiative jointly organized by Apollo Hospitals, Swargate, Pune and the Pune Police Commissionerate received an overwhelming response. During the program held at the Police Commissioner’s Office in Shivajinagar, nearly 500 police personnel were given hands-on training in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS), which are essential for saving lives during emergency situations. Dr. Sujay Patil, HOD of Emergency Medicine and Acute Care at Apollo Hospitals, Swargate, Pune, conducted practical training and guidance sessions for police personnel on the occasion of World Emergency Medicine Day.

Expert doctors explained CPR techniques through live demonstrations. The initiative was organized with the objective of increasing emergency healthcare awareness in society.
