Pune – M. Karthikeyan, Executive Director of Bank of India, urged the bank’s employees to earn customer trust by providing excellent and good service. He called upon the employees to promote various schemes run by the bank for customers, thereby increasing the bank’s business and investments.

Karthikeyan was on a tour of the Pune region of the bank. He visited the bank’s regional office on Ganeshkhind Road, where he interacted openly with the bank’s customers and employees. He gathered suggestions from customers and employees regarding potential measures and initiatives that could be implemented for the betterment of customer service at the bank. Afterward, he addressed a press conference where he shared information about the bank’s various schemes and initiatives.

He mentioned that the bank has received a very good response from citizens for various schemes like the Prime Minister’s Vishwakarma Yojana, Solar Home Electricity Scheme, PM Swanidhi Yojana, Prime Minister’s Insurance Security Scheme, and Prime Minister’s Jeevan Jyoti Yojana. He emphasized that the bank has played a crucial role in ensuring these schemes reach citizens and customers, helping them benefit from these initiatives to the maximum.

Karthikeyan also mentioned that salary agreements have been signed between Bank of India, Mutha Founders in Satara, and the C-DAC institutions across the country. He stated that these agreements would strengthen the bank’s corporate relations.

He further added that the bank has 125,000 branches across India, with 92 branches in the Pune region. He mentioned that efforts are being made to increase the bank’s business and income, and there has been considerable success in this regard.

The event was attended by Field General Manager Mr. Deepak Gupta, Regional Manager Mr. Sanjay Kadam, the marketing department, and other employees.
