Affordable General, Eye and Cataract Screening Services to Be Provided

Pune: With the aim of making healthcare accessible to economically weaker sections, ‘Adarsh Seva OPD’ has been launched by Shri Adarsh Mandal, in collaboration with Maha NMO, Maharashtra, and with the support of Jayatu Social Foundation. The centre will offer general outpatient services, eye examinations and cataract screening at highly affordable rates, benefiting needy residents of the Bhawani Peth area.

The healthcare centre was inaugurated in the presence of Pune Association President Fatehchand Ranka. Those present on the occasion included Shri Adarsh Mandal President Subhash Oswal; Jayatu Social Foundation founder Kalyani Pooja Sukesh Ransing; coordinator Ganesh More; Gauri Taru; Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh functionary Rahul Punde; Maha NMO representatives Dr Prashant Chaudhary, Dr Ashutosh Jape, Dr Falguni Jape and Dr Umarji, along with other dignitaries and volunteers.

Financial difficulties often prevent people from getting timely health check-ups. Residents of slum areas, in particular, face challenges in accessing primary healthcare services. Keeping these concerns in mind, the centre has been established to provide basic health check-ups, examinations for eye-related problems and necessary medical guidance. Patients will also receive guidance on further treatment, wherever required.

Through this initiative, Shri Adarsh Mandal, Maha NMO, Maharashtra, and Jayatu Social Foundation aim to extend healthcare services to as many needy citizens as possible. Creating health awareness among the public and highlighting the importance of timely medical check-ups are also key objectives of the initiative.
Adarsh Seva OPD is located at Office No. A-103, Kalpataru Plaza, Ramoshi Gate, Bhawani Peth, Pune. The organisers have appealed to needy citizens to make use of the healthcare services available at the centre.
