Spread the love Shri Mahalaxmi Temple, Sarasbaug Takes Initiative; Essential Ration Distributed to 100 Families in Remote Areas Pune: As a gesture of social commitment, Shri Mahalaxmi Temple, Sarasbaug, Pune, distributed essential ration supplies to 100 tribal families in the remote settlement of Savargaon Thakarwadi, Khandala. This initiative ensures that these families can celebrate the Gudi Padwa festival with joy. The initiative was organized under the leadership of Shri Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust and Shri Mahalaxmi Temple, Pune. Present at the distribution event were the temple’s chief trustee Rajkumar Agarwal, lead trustee Amita Agarwal, trustee Hemant Arnalakar, along with other trustees, office bearers, and volunteers. The program was conducted under the guidance of Amita Rajkumar Agarwal. Speaking about the initiative, Amita Agarwal stated that the aim was to ensure that every section of society can partake in the joy of festivals. With this sense of social responsibility, essential food supplies such as wheat, rice, sugar, pulses, oil, salt, chili, turmeric, spices, tea powder, biscuits, semolina, flattened rice, and jaggery were provided to the families. A special prayer was also offered at the temple for happiness and peace in these remote communities as they begin the Marathi New Year with joy and celebration.
