Organized by Shri Jangli Maharaj Devasthan Trust, Pune; Lectures, Music Sessions, Bhajans, and Various Religious Programs Scheduled

Pune: The Shri Jangli Maharaj Devasthan Trust, Pune, is organizing the 135th Punyatithi Festival of Sadguru Shri Jangli Maharaj. The festival will take place at Jangli Maharaj Temple from Sunday, March 30, to Saturday, April 12, 2025. The celebration will feature religious ceremonies, bhajans, lectures, and music sessions.

The festival is being coordinated by Trust President Rajendra Tambekar, Vice President Chandrakant Shirole, Secretary Shirish Lokhande, and other office bearers and volunteers. The event will commence on Sunday, March 30, at 6:00 AM with a Shehnai performance by the Aadhav Brothers, followed by Samadhi Abhyangasnan, Pooja, Bhajan by Shri Sadguru Jangli Maharaj Bhajani Mandal, and Aarti at 7:00 AM.

From March 30 to April 11, a daily reading of Shri Dnyaneshwari will be conducted from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, followed by various women’s bhajan groups performing from 10:00 AM to 5:45 PM. On April 6, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM, the Shri Gajanan Maharaj Parivar Sangh, Pune, will organize a continuous reading of the Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth.

Every evening at 6:00 PM, distinguished speakers will present lectures on various topics. The speakers include Dilip Mahajan, Dr. Rajendra Raut, Dr. Varsha Todmal, Kashinath Devdhar, Umesh Zhirpe, Vinita Telang, Dr. Uday Nirgudkar, Dr. Sunil Sathe, H.B.P. Kisan Chaudhary, Sunil Tambe, Yogi Niranjannath, Dr. Ajit Apte, H.B.P. Dr. Chetananand (Pankaj Maharaj Gawade), among others.

Additionally, at 8:00 PM daily, renowned singers will present devotional music and classical concerts. The lineup includes Pt. Kalyan Apar, Avantika-Nikita Bahirat, Vidushi Manjusha Patil, Pt. Shaunak Abhisheki, Umesh Salunke, Vidushi Kalapini Komkali, Pt. Raghunath Khandalkar, Shamika Bhide, Shashwati Chavan, Nitin More, Shridhar Phadke, and Padmashri Pt. Vijay Ghate.

On Friday, April 11, at 9:00 PM, a Palakhi procession of Sadguru Shri Jangli Maharaj’s Padukas will be held. The festival will conclude on Saturday, April 12, with Mahaprasad served at the temple from 1:00 PM onward.

The trust has invited all devotees to participate in large numbers and be part of this grand spiritual celebration.
