Grand Celebration of Shri Ram Navami and Birth Anniversary at Kondhwa in Presence of Thousands of Devotees

Pune – A grand celebration of Shri Ram Navami and the birth anniversary of Lord Ram took place on Sunday, April 6, 2025, at the Ram Mandir in the Sankat Mochan Mahadev Mandir premises on NIBM Road, Kondhwa Khurd. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of thousands of devotees, transforming the entire temple premises into a divine and Ram-centric atmosphere. The initiative for this celebration was taken by Shri Ram Sevak Pawan Bansal and his family, with significant support from former corporator Tanaji Lonkar.

The temple was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The Ram Janmotsav (birth celebration) began at exactly 12 noon, during which thousands of devotees worshipped Lord Shri Ram and Goddess Sita with deep devotion and participated in the aarti. Prior to this, the temple echoed with the chanting of “Ram Naam” and “Sita Naam,” followed by devotional bhajan sessions.

Along with Pawan Bansal, notable attendees included Pune Agarwal Samaj President Ishwar Goyal, Bhavan Bansal, Sunita Bansal, Anita Rishabh Bansal, Aseem Bansal, Jaybhagwan Goyal, Narendra Goyal, Gunjan Naval, Sanjay Bansal, Jitesh Bansal, Jitesh Agarwal, Shailesh Khandelwal, Yogesh Jain, Pawan Chamadia, Sagar Agarwal, Ramesh Agarwal, and a large number of devotees from the Kondhwa area and across the city.

Speaking about the event, Pawan Bansal said that thousands of Ram devotees gathered at the venue on the occasion of Ram Navami to seek the blessings of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. The celebration also included a recitation of the Ramayana, a grand abhishek (ritual bathing of deities), and a maha-aarti (grand worship ceremony). Afterward, devotees partook in the Mahaprasad (sacred meal).

Bansal also shared that on behalf of the Brotherhood, a Bhajan Sandhya (devotional music evening) is being organized on Monday, April 7, at 5 PM at Alpasanchayt Bhavan. Famous singers Aditya Goyal and Ritu Panchal will perform devotional songs dedicated to Lord Ram. He appealed to all devotees to attend this spiritually uplifting event.
