Inauguration of Shri Chaitanya Gaudiya Tirtha Sevashram Recently Held at Lohegaon

Pune – The inauguration ceremony of Shri Chaitanya Gaudiya Tirtha Sevashram was recently held at Lohegaon in Pune. This auspicious event was conducted in the holy presence of saints from Vrindavan and Mayapur, and attended by local residents.

This center has been established to promote the Yuga Dharma set forth by Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu — the congregational chanting of the holy names (Sri Harinam Sankirtan), the teachings of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavatam, and the principles of pure devotion. Its aim is to elevate the moral and spiritual consciousness of society.

In today’s world, where ongoing wars have spread unrest everywhere, there is a dire need for peace. It is with this vision that this Sevashram has been inaugurated. In the coming days, this center is expected to be seen as a symbol of peace.

This initiative is a result of the divine blessings of Jagadguru Om Vishnupad 108 Shri Srimad Bhakti Ballabh Tirtha Goswami Maharaj (1924–2017) during the centenary celebration year of his birth. The Sevashram will remain open to all for regular satsangs and other religious programs.
