Among those affected were families of ex-servicemen, who narrated the entire incident to the Commissioner. Strict action will be taken against those responsible.” On the night of July 26, a group of self-proclaimed Hindutva activists associated with Bajrang Dal, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, and Sakal Hindu Samaj Vadgaon Sheri allegedly entered the residence of Shamshad Shaikh in Chandan Nagar.
