Honouring 81 Children of Electricians and Scholarship Distribution

RR Kabel’s unique initiative under “Kabel Star Season 4”

Pune: The Kabel Star Scholarship Program 2025, organized by RR Kabel, was recently held at the Firodia Auditorium, opposite COEP Hostel, Pune. Under Kabel Star Season 4, a total of 81 students from Pune were felicitated. Across India, 1,000 students will receive a scholarship of ₹10,000 each, amounting to a total disbursement of ₹1 crore.

This unique initiative is designed for the children of electricians who have successfully passed their Class 10 examinations. To encourage and support hardworking and talented students in pursuing higher secondary education, RR Kabel allocates over ₹1 crore annually for this cause.
So far, around 4,000 students across the country have been selected to receive individual scholarships of ₹10,000 each. These bright students have not only received financial assistance for their higher education but have also taken a significant step toward realizing their aspirations. To further support their academic journey, they were honoured with laptops as well.

The Kabel Star Scholarship initiative was launched in 2022 to empower the children of electricians by enabling them to pursue higher education.”

These electricians are affectionately known as ‘Kabel Dosts’. Since its inception, the initiative has had a transformative impact, providing financial aid to deserving students nationwide. Over the years, both the reach and significance of this program have expanded, benefiting thousands of students annually and creating a lasting positive change in their lives.
