Republican Party is a true ally of the BJP

Pune: The Republican Party is a true ally of the Bharatiya Janata Party and a partner in the Mahayuti. The Mahayuti is now complete and no more partners should be added to it, appealed Ramdas Athawale, National Leader of the Republican Party and Union Minister for Social Justice. He also demanded 12 seats for the Republican Party in the Pune Municipal Corporation elections.

In view of the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation elections, a ‘Sankalp Melava’ (Resolution Convention) was organized by the Republican Party of India (Athawale) at Ashram Ground, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College, Nana Peth, Pune. Union Minister of State for Social Justice Ramdas Athawale was speaking on this occasion. Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil, Pune City President of RPI (Athawale) Sanjay Sonawane, City In-charge Shailendra Chavan, State Secretary Balasaheb Janrao, Parshuram Wadekar, Ashok Kamble, Ashok Gaikwad, Mahipal Waghmare, Mahendra Kamble, Ashok Shirole, Sham Sadafule, Women’s City President Himali Kamble, former Deputy Mayor Sunita Wadekar, Vishal Shewale, along with several senior party leaders, were present at the convention.
Athawale said that the Republican Party is expanding with the support of the Bharatiya Janata Party and that he is strengthening the party across the country. He noted that the Republican Party has now established its presence even in Northeast India. While differences are seen among Ambedkarite parties in Maharashtra, such differences are not seen elsewhere in the country, he added.

Athawale criticized Rahul Gandhi for repeatedly alleging vote theft by the Election Commission and the ruling parties, stating that such allegations are baseless. He questioned how vote theft could be possible when every candidate has representatives at polling booths and strict police security is maintained where voting machines are kept.

He further said that people are no longer voting for the Congress party because they have realized that voting for it is of no use. Due to the lack of emotional connect with opposition parties, voters are consistently rejecting them, Athawale remarked.

Chandrakant Patil said that the upcoming municipal elections will be contested as the Mahayuti. Just as success was achieved in municipal councils and nagar panchayats, similar success will be achieved on January 16, and this convention has been organized with that objective. He stated that today’s first rally is extremely large and will seal their victory. He expressed confidence that the Republican Party will receive the same respect from Prime Minister Modi and Devendra Fadnavis that is given to Athawale, along with a rightful share in power. He added that they have lived up to the trust of the people of Pune and that major projects will be launched to make Pune free from traffic congestion.

Leaders of the Republican Party also expressed their views during the convention. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
