Spread the love Pune: In view of providing security to the lakhs of followers expected to attend the Bhima Koregaon Vijay Stambh Shaurya Din homage ceremony to be held at Mauje Perne on January 1, 2026, Pune Police Commissioner Mr. Amitesh Kumar, along with Maharashtra State Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) Nikhil Gupta and other senior officers, conducted an inspection of the Vijay Stambh परिसर today. On this occasion, they also held discussions with the organisers and local residents regarding issues related to law and order. The Police Commissioner appealed to citizens to come for the homage on January 1 without falling prey to any rumours, assuring that this year’s celebration will be conducted smoothly and without any tension. Present during the inspection were Pune Co-Police Commissioner Ranjan Kumar Sharma, Kolhapur Range Special Inspector General of Police Sudhir Hiremath, Additional Police Commissioner Manoj Patil, Superintendent of Police Sandipsingh Gill, Deputy Commissioners of Police Somay Munde, Sandip Bhajibhiakre, and Himmatarao Jadhav, along with several other officers.
