Spread the love Campaign Launch of BJP Candidates from Ward No. 8 after Seeking Blessings of Gramdaivat Bhairavnath of Bopodi Pune: The Bharatiya Janata Party is a party driven by ideology and committed to working for the people. Whether there is an election or not, a BJP worker works 24 hours a day, 12 months a year. The condition of the Nationalist Congress Party in Pune is very poor; they are unable to even find candidates for elections and have had to import candidates. If Pune city is to be made one of the best cities in the country, there is no alternative to Modi. We do not seek power alone; our objective is to serve the people, said Union Minister of State for Cooperation and Pune MP Murlidhar Mohol. For the Pune Municipal Corporation General Elections 2026, from Aundh–Bopodi Ward No. 8, the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Republican Party of India (RPI) have fielded four candidates: Sunny Vinayak Nimhan, Parshuram Wadekar, Bhakti Ajit Gaikwad, and Sapna Anand Chhajed. Their election campaign was formally launched today by seeking blessings of Bopodi’s Gramdaivat, Bhairavnath. Murlidhar Mohol was speaking on this occasion. Shivajinagar constituency MLA Siddharth Shirole, along with a large number of BJP and RPI workers, were present. Murlidhar Mohol further said that over the last five years, the work carried out by the BJP in the Pune Municipal Corporation has been aimed at steering Pune city towards development. If one looks at the work done by MLA Siddharth Shirole over the last six years, the initiatives of the Modi government at the Centre, and the work of the Devendra Fadnavis-led state government, beneficiaries of government schemes can be found in almost every household. Once again, he emphasized that the BJP’s goal is not merely power, but public service. Speaking on the occasion, Sunny Nimhan said that inspired by the inclusive vision of late Minister Chandrakant Chhajed Saheb and the strong work ethic of late “Karyasamrat” MLA Vinayak Nimhan Saheb, all four candidates will strive for balanced and holistic development of the ward. Along with food, clothing, and shelter, education and healthcare are fundamental needs. Therefore, quality healthcare facilities will be made available in the Bopodi area. There are two municipal dispensaries in this area; in addition to upgrading them, a trauma care center will be started. To ensure quality education, e-learning schools will also be introduced, he assured. He further stated that they are approaching the people with a commitment to development while taking all communities, castes, and religions along together. MLA Siddharth Shirole said that today there is a double-engine government at the state and national levels. If the BJP is given a majority in Pune city as well, it will create a triple-engine government that will put Pune city on a superfast track of development.
