Oil and Gas Distributors Must Strictly Follow Government Rules – Mahesh Gupta

Pune: On behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Traders’ Wing – Pune City, an appeal has been made to all oil and gas operating companies, distributors, and agencies to ensure that the distribution of gas and fuel is carried out strictly in accordance with the policies and guidelines set by the government.

Mahesh Gupta, President of the BJP Traders’ Wing, Pune City, stated that it is very essential for common citizens, traders, the hotel industry, and the industrial sector to receive a regular, transparent, and smooth supply.

He emphasized that gas and fuel meant for both domestic and commercial use (such as hotels and industries) must be supplied properly and as per regulations, and maintaining transparency in the distribution process is the responsibility of all distributors.

He further warned that if any instances of illegal hoarding, artificial shortage creation, or black marketing are found, strict legal action will be taken against the concerned agencies and responsible individuals by the administration and police authorities.

Mahesh Gupta also clarified that strict adherence to government rules is the primary responsibility of all distributors in the interest of traders and the general public.
