The event was graced by MLA Hemant Rasne, along with the temple’s Executive Trustee Dhanottam Lonkar, Gaurav Bapat, Vishal Gharat, trustees, volunteers, and a large gathering of devotees. The 11 participating troupes included Ramanbag, Shivgarjana, Jnana Prabodhini, Shriram, Swaroopvardhini, Nadbrahma, Yuva, Abhedya, Garware, Shivmudra, and Gajalaxmi, while Samarth Pratishthan presented a special percussion performance. Dhanottam Lonkar said, “The construction of Omkareshwar Temple took place between 1734 and 1736, and this structure holds immense historical significance. It stands as a symbol of Pune’s religious and cultural heritage. Hence, on this final Shravan Monday, we organized this unique program.” A grand Maha Aarti was performed in the presence of dignitaries and the drum players, marking the culmination of the tribute.
