Pune: With the aim of showcasing Indian traditions, culture, and heritage on a global platform, the ‘Fashion World Tour’ organized by Kashish Foundation and F Studio International was inaugurated in Kothrud, Pune. Through this initiative, the beauty of Indian culture, traditions, and mythological heritage will be presented internationally.

A major highlight of the event is the participation of more than 75 models who will walk the ramp in traditional and mythological Indian attire, presenting the richness and uniqueness of Indian fashion and culture to the world.

Dignitaries present on the occasion included Prof. Dr. Mahesh Thorve, Director of MIT Group of Institutions, Pune; Dr. Swapnil Kamble; Siddharth Bhokare; Vidya Kamble; Ketaki Shirbavikar; Archana Maghade; Dr. Smita Baravkar; Nilesh Vavare; Ajay Kamble; and organizer Yogesh Pawar, among others.

Speaking about the initiative, Pune’s “Padman” and President of Kashish Social Foundation, Yogesh Pawar, said that the ‘Fashion World Tour’ will be conducted across 12 countries, giving Indian fashion and culture a global identity. He expressed confidence that this grand initiative will leave a strong imprint of Indian traditions on the international stage.

The tour will be held in a competitive format, with categories such as Kids, Miss, and Mister. The world tour will begin in May from Dubai, where Bigg Boss winner Gaurav Khanna will be present to encourage the participants. The tour will feature beauty pageants, designer walks, and international awards.

In addition, as part of its social responsibility, Kashish Social Foundation actively works to create awareness about menstrual health—an important and sensitive issue. As part of this initiative, sanitary napkins will be distributed. The foundation has already distributed sanitary napkins to needy women in the Kashmir Valley as well as in remote areas of Pune and Satara districts. Yogesh Pawar stated that the same awareness campaign will continue through this show.

Dr. Mahesh Thorve remarked that the Fashion World Tour is an excellent concept aimed at respectfully promoting Indian culture and traditions on the global stage.
