Social Awareness Fashion Show Promoting Women’s Health Concludes at Elpro Mall, Pimpri

Winners to get opportunity to feature in upcoming album song

Pune: In an era where fashion shows are becoming increasingly common across age groups, a unique fashion show combining glamour with social responsibility and women’s health awareness was successfully organized at Elpro Mall, Chinchwad. The event was jointly organized by Swapnil Gogawale Entertainment and Aai Foundation in collaboration with Kashish Social Foundation.

The competition was conducted in multiple categories — Miss, Mrs, Mr and Kids — and witnessed enthusiastic participation. Dr. Mahesh Thorve attended as the chief guest. Other dignitaries present included Dr. Archana Mali, Swapnil Gogawale, Dr. Ajitsingh Patil, Raj Randive, Archana Maghade, Nilakshi Jadhav, Ketaki Shirbavikar, Smita Madhukar, Dr. Smita Baravkar, Sai Wadhavkar (Aai Foundation) and Padman of Pune, Yogesh Pawar, President of Kashish Social Foundation.

Kashish Productions brand ambassador Om Jagdale also performed a ramp walk.
Speaking about the initiative, Yogesh Pawar said the foundation has been consistently working to create awareness about menstrual health — an important yet sensitive topic — as part of its social responsibility. Sanitary napkins are distributed to needy women, and the organisation has already reached remote regions of Pune and Satara districts as well as parts of the Kashmir valley. The same awareness message was conveyed through this fashion show.

Organizer Swapnil Gogawale stated that although he has attended many fashion shows, this event was special because it was conceptualised around women’s health awareness and safety. He also announced that winners of the competition will be offered an opportunity to work in their upcoming album song.

Make-up for the contestants was done by Wellness World Beauty School.
The judging panel included Sapna Bhave, Priyanka Misal, actress Pooja Wagh, Preeti Kochar, Priya Patil and Madhavi Bokil, while the programme was hosted by RJ Bandya.
