Creative Engine Expo 2026’ Based on the Creative Economy Inaugurated with Great Enthusiasm

Pune: The upcoming Orange Revolution is set to create limitless opportunities in employment, entrepreneurship, and innovation for young people. To ensure that India remains a global leader in this revolution, the younger generation must take the initiative and actively participate, said Dr. Sanjeev Sonawane, Vice-Chancellor of Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University.


The grand inauguration of Creative Engine Expo 2026, organized at the exhibition hall of Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, Swargate, Pune, was held with great enthusiasm at the hands of Alok Jain, President of jiohotstar.com⁠�. The event was attended by former Pune MP Pradeep Rawat, Company Three CEO Praful Gade, President of the Akhil Bharatiya Chitrapat Mahamandal Meghraj Rajebhosale, Manoj Erande, the exhibition’s chief organizer and founder of Srujan College of Design Santosh Raskar, along with Mandar Joshi, Ranjit Hagawane, Sunil Bhandge, Sanjay Thube, Sanjay Parikh, and other distinguished guests.


Speaking on the occasion, Alok Jain said that the Orange Economy is poised to become a significant pillar of India’s economy in the coming years. He emphasized that technology-driven entertainment can play a crucial role in showcasing India’s rich culture, art, and traditions to a global audience through modern technological platforms.


Meghraj Rajebhosale described the Creative Engine Expo as a highly valuable and inspiring initiative for the entertainment industry. He expressed confidence that the exhibition would provide an unforgettable experience for technicians, students, and artists working in the creative sector.


Chief organizer and founder of Srujan College of Design, Santosh Raskar, stated that the exhibition would play a significant role in positioning India as a global hub for the Orange Economy in the future. He added that the initiative aims to create greater public awareness about this emerging and rapidly growing economic sector.


The exhibition is open to the public free of charge on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience firsthand various technologies, concepts, and career opportunities in the creative industry.


The expo will showcase how creative products and content are developed across fields such as comics, animation, graphics, gaming, visual effects (VFX), digital educational tools, virtual production, 3D printing, and virtual reality (VR). Industry experts will explain the creative processes involved and demonstrate how cutting-edge technology is integrated into these sectors.


In addition, attendees will be able to interact with experts to learn about employment and business opportunities emerging from the creative economy. Special free career guidance sessions have also been organized for students interested in pursuing careers in the creative industries.
