Providing further details about the event, the authors stated that the launch ceremony for “Suvarnadweep – Hindu Buddhist Kingdoms of Ancient Indonesia” will take place on June 6, 2026, at 6:15 PM at Firodia Auditorium, located within the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute. The book will be formally released by Dr. A. P. Jamkhedkar, former Chairman of the Indian Council of Historical Research. The event will be chaired by Dr. G. B. Deglurkar, while Dr. Ambarish Khare will attend as the chief guest. The book presents an in-depth study of the influence of ancient Indian civilization in Maritime Southeast Asia, highlighting the legacy of Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms, architecture, literature, language, and cultural heritage in the region.
