According to them, the scheme functions like a school that nurtures and develops ideal individuals.

A felicitation ceremony for successful Class 10 and Class 12 students, along with the distribution of educational materials, was organized under the Jay Ganesh Knowledge Enhancement Campaign by the Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Public Ganpati Trust and the Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal at Lady Ramabai Hall.

Among those present were Uday Panchpor from MKCL Corporate Management, Sagar Dhole Patil, President of Dhole Patil Education Society, Trust President Sunil Rasane, Treasurer Mahesh Suryawanshi, Joint Secretary Amol Kedari, Festival Head Akshay Godse, Suvarnayug Tarun Mandal President Prakash Chavan, senior educationist Dr. A. L. Deshmukh, Vijay Bhalerao, Sachin Akhade, Vilas Raskar, Rajabhau Paimode, Tushar Raikar, Vishal Kedari, Vishwas Paluskar, and several office-bearers and volunteers.

On the occasion, successful alumni of the scheme shared their experiences and highlighted its significance. Aniruddha Dorge said that he joined the scheme while studying in the second standard. “The Trust not only helped shape me as a student but also guided me to become a better human being. I will remain indebted to the Trust throughout my life,” he said.

Gauri Khatavkar stated that the scheme provided her with not only academic support but also emotional encouragement. “The Trust works like a family. Its contribution to my becoming a Chartered Accountant has been immense. Had the Trust not shown faith in me, I would not have achieved this milestone. Just as I became a CA with this support, my dream is to help another student become a CA in the future,” she said.
Siddharth Dahibhate remarked that the Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust gave strength to the dreams he had envisioned. “This is not merely a trust; it is like a wish-fulfilling tree that shelters poor and needy students. It provides them with support, helps them build their lives, and equips them with the values and skills necessary to become good human beings and ideal citizens,” he said.

Uday Panchpor emphasized that education and marks obtained in Class 10 and Class 12 are only one phase of a student’s journey. “To succeed in real life, a person’s character and values are equally important. Therefore, the values imparted through the Jay Ganesh Sponsorship Scheme are extremely significant,” he said.

Sagar Dhole Patil urged students to remember that the education they received through the scheme has helped them shape both their families and their futures. “If you carry a sense of gratitude throughout your life, you will not only achieve academic success but also grow into a cultured and exemplary individual,” he said.

In his introductory remarks, Mahesh Suryawanshi explained that the Trust focuses not only on providing textbook knowledge but also on nurturing ideal personalities and instilling the qualities necessary for leading a successful and meaningful life.

Senior educationist Dr. A. L. Deshmukh stated that the concept of life education advocated by Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave forms the foundation of the Sponsorship Scheme.

“Students educated under this scheme achieve academic success, but they are also equipped to succeed in their personal lives because of the values and character-building lessons imparted through the program,” he said.
