Pune: D.Y. Patil PGDM Institute, Data Tech Lab, and Just 4 Entrepreneurs have jointly organized two initiatives, Elephant Tank and Innovatex, aimed at innovative and aspiring entrepreneurs among students. These events are being held on January 31 and February 1 at the institution’s Akurdi campus. Dr. Shalaka Parkar, Director of D.Y. Patil University’s PGDM Institute, shared this information during a press conference, which was also attended by Kalpesh Kuwar and Dr. Amit Andre, Managing Director of Data Tech Lab.

So far, over 700 students from various colleges have registered for the event. More than 250 students will also have the opportunity for internships. In addition, over 100 new entrepreneurial ideas have been accepted into the D.Y. Patil Foundation’s Incubation Center. Organizers emphasized that this is not just an event but a movement to empower students for entrepreneurship.

Elephant Tank is a unique platform for entrepreneurial students, where they can pitch their innovative business ideas. Through this platform, students will have the opportunity to present their startup ideas to industry experts, investors, and mentors. Their ideas will be evaluated impartially through an AI-driven evaluation system, and they will receive appropriate scores, as shared by Dr. Andre.
